Terms of use
Effective 30 September 2026. Last updated 30 September 2026.
These terms are an agreement between you and Blue Door Labs Ltd (company number 17489967), registered office: 212a Great West Road, Hounslow, England, TW5 9AW (“we”), about using Wren. By using Wren you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use Wren.
Wren is not medical care
Wren helps you keep a record of your days. It is not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any condition, it does not predict episodes, and it does not tell you what medication to take or how much. Nothing in Wren, including anything Wren says in a conversation, is medical advice or a substitute for care from your doctor, psychiatrist or other professional. Talk to them before changing anything about your treatment.
Wren is not for emergencies
No one watches your record or your conversations, and Wren cannot call for help. If you are in danger, or thinking about harming yourself, call your local emergency number now. In the US you can call or text 988. In the UK and Ireland, Samaritans answer on 116 123. Elsewhere, findahelpline.com lists free lines near you.
Conversations with Wren
Wren’s replies are written by an AI model. They can be incomplete, out of date or wrong, and Wren can misunderstand what you meant. When Wren records something you told it, check that it got it right; you can change or delete anything in your record. How conversations are handled, and what is sent to our AI provider, is in the privacy policy.
Who can use Wren
You must be at least 18 to use Wren. You need an Apple Account to sign in, and you are responsible for keeping your iPhone and Apple Account secure.
Your record is yours
You own what you put into Wren. You let us store it, process it and send it to our service providers only as needed to run Wren for you, as the privacy policy describes. You can delete it all at any time from Settings, and when you do, that permission ends.
Using Wren fairly
Please do not misuse Wren: do not try to get into anyone else’s record, interfere with or overload the service, take it apart to copy it, or use it to break the law. We may suspend an account that does, and will tell you why where we can.
Apple Health
Wren reads from Apple Health only what you switch on and never writes to it. Health data can be incomplete or wrong, since it comes from your devices and other apps; Wren shows it as it arrives.
Experience points and games
Experience points, levels and the small games in Wren are only a way of marking what you have recorded. They have no money value and cannot be bought, sold or exchanged.
Subscriptions and cancellation
Wren requires a paid subscription, with monthly or annual auto-renewing plans sold through Apple’s App Store. A free trial is available for eligible subscribers. Apple shows the trial length, subscription period and amount you will be charged before you confirm the purchase. When the trial ends, the paid subscription begins automatically unless you cancel in time.
Apple bills your Apple Account and handles renewals. Your subscription renews automatically unless you cancel. You can cancel in your iPhone’s Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Wren. To avoid a charge after a free trial, cancel at least 24 hours before it ends. Apple shows when cancellation takes effect; cancelling a trial may end access immediately. Deleting Wren or your Wren account does not cancel the subscription.
For a billing problem or refund request, use Apple’s purchase support. Any rights to cancellation or a refund under consumer law remain yours.
Changes and availability
We are always working on Wren, so features may change, and we may need to pause Wren for maintenance. If we decide to stop offering Wren, we will normally tell you in the app at least 30 days before, so that you can take what you need from your record. We will give as much notice as we can if a legal or security issue requires an earlier closure. We will respect your rights to a refund for any paid service we cannot provide.
If we change these terms, we will update the date at the top, and tell you in the app before a significant change takes effect.
What we promise, and its limits
We will provide Wren with reasonable care and skill. Where consumer law applies, its digital content must be of satisfactory quality, fit for any purpose we have agreed with you and as described. You keep all rights and remedies the law gives you, including repair, replacement or a refund where applicable. We cannot promise that the service will always be uninterrupted or that every AI reply will be accurate.
If we breach these terms or fail to use reasonable care and skill, we are responsible for loss or damage that was reasonably foreseeable as a result. We are not responsible for losses that were not foreseeable, or for business losses when you use Wren for personal purposes. We do not exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or anything else that the law does not allow us to exclude or limit.
Apple
Wren is licensed to you under Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, together with these terms. These terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for Wren or its content, has no obligation to provide support for it, and is a third-party beneficiary of these terms with the right to enforce them against you.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. You can bring a claim in the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also use the courts where you live. If you live elsewhere, these terms do not take away any mandatory consumer protections or rights to bring a claim in your home courts that apply to you.
